Convert psi, bar and kPa.

Non-negative decimals up to 250 psi equivalent. This software bound is not a recommended or safe operating range.

Read a worked example.

2.4 bar = 240 kPa ≈ 34.809 psi. These are three expressions of the same pressure, not three measurements. The example is not a recommendation for your vehicle.

1 bar=100 kPa≈14.504 psi

NIST’s unit conversions support the conversion factors: 1 bar = 100 kPa and 1 psi ≈ 6.894757 kPa. Outputs round psi/bar to three decimals and kPa to two. Digits on screen do not establish the accuracy of a gauge.

A unit conversion is not a cold/hot conversion.

psi means pounds-force per square inch; kPa means kilopascals. Plain kg measures mass, not pressure. A label using kgf/cm² describes a different pressure unit, which this tool does not accept. Read the complete unit rather than treating kg as psi.

If the input came from a warm tire, the converted value is still a warm reading. This tool does not estimate tire-air temperature, pressure after driving, a leak rate or a vehicle-specific target.

For a temperature scenario use the separate temperature model and read its assumptions. For an actual check use the wheel-by-wheel record with your vehicle’s specifications and measured values.
